This is the process of creating the boombox and the graphic elements for the stop motion animation.
In this project, we are assigned to make an illustration for an organisation that can be used to recruit young people. The name of the program is FreeZA. Because this is a youth organisation, we have to make illustrations that can capture youthful energy and must be contemporary or up to date with current trends.
To reach the target of this brief, my initial idea was to make a very colourful and fun illustration. Because this way is expected to catch the attention easily. My initial concept was very basic in music as musical instruments or like a boombox. I want to make the background and musical instrument very monochrome and almost black and white. Then with music, it transforms the illustrations full of colour and shapes depicting that music brings colour to the world.
